Can I run a radiology centre without buying clinic software?
Yes. MedKit Care offers Radiology & Imaging as a standalone annual product. It covers walk-in orders, study worklists, structured report entry, verification, signed reports and imaging billing. Combine it with Laboratory or Pharmacy if needed. Standalone Radiology does not include clinic OPD, inpatient workflows or pharmacy inventory.
An imaging centre needs to know which studies are booked, which patients have arrived, which examinations are in progress and which reports need verification. Reception and reporting staff can follow that worklist without using a clinic consultation workflow.
MedKit provides a study catalogue with centre-specific prices, structured report templates, report verification and amendments retained as versions. Reports use the centre’s own header and can be printed or saved as PDF.
PACS/DICOM links can be attached to a study so your team can reach its imaging resources. This is a workflow and reporting product; it does not provide AI image interpretation or claim to replace your imaging equipment or PACS.
What this replaces
The problems below are the reason healthcare teams look for a connected workflow.
No shared worklist
Reception and reporting staff need a common view of studies awaiting arrival, examination or reporting.
Reports scattered across files
Drafts, verified reports and amendments should remain associated with the correct patient and study.
Billing separate from the study
Record charges and payments alongside the ordered imaging service.
How MedKit Care handles it
Each capability below is part of the platform, not an add-on quoted separately.
Study catalogue
X-ray, USG, CT, MRI, mammography and dental study definitions, with prices set by your centre.
Walk-in orders and worklists
Register a patient at the desk and track study progress from scheduled to report pending.
Structured reporting
Enter findings into study-specific templates, then review, verify, sign and finalise.
Report history
Keep amendments as versions and produce reports on your own centre header.
PACS/DICOM links
Attach links to your existing imaging resources to the relevant study.
Imaging billing and analytics
Bill imaging services and review modality-wise activity.
The workflow, end to end
- 1
Register and order
Find or register the walk-in patient, select studies and record the order.
- 2
Track the examination
Update arrival and progress so the desk and reporting team see the study status.
- 3
Draft the report
Use structured findings fields and attach the relevant PACS/DICOM links.
- 4
Verify and finalise
An authorised professional reviews, signs and finalises the report.
- 5
Deliver and reconcile
Print or export the report and reconcile billing; retain any later amendment history.
What changes
- One worklist for the imaging desk and reporting team
- Study-specific templates for consistent report structure
- Version history for amended reports
- Annual standalone or combined business plans
Who it is for
- Independent imaging centres
- Radiology reporting teams
- Diagnostic centres with pathology and imaging

Frequently asked questions
Can I combine Radiology with Laboratory or Pharmacy?+
Yes. Choose Radiology alone, a two-product combination or all three standalone products on the pricing page. The selected combination determines the included workflows and payable annual price.
Does the radiology product interpret images using AI?+
No. Radiology provides worklists, structured report entry, verification and report history. It does not include AI image interpretation; the authorised reporting professional remains responsible for the report.
Does Radiology include pharmacy inventory?+
No. Pharmacy stock, batches and purchases are included only when the Pharmacy product is selected. A Radiology-only or Laboratory-only standalone plan has no pharmacy inventory.
Do we need a clinic or hospital subscription?+
No. An independent imaging centre can buy standalone Radiology & Imaging. Hospital teams can use the Radiology module through a hospital plan that includes it; these are different plan choices.
Does the software include a PACS?+
The product supports PACS/DICOM links on studies. Confirm access to your own image storage and viewing setup during the demo; links are not a promise of a hosted PACS or automatic device integration.
